Our fellowship consist of personally ministering to those in Covenant Christian Faith International Fellowship, by means of seminars, counsel, and wisdom, particularly as it relates to ministry and church matters.
Committed relationships between ministers are not developed within certain structures. Church discipline concerning doctrinal disputes and/or moral failures become heavy handed and ineffective. Ministers must willingly relate to elders of good report and develop relationships of trust before accountability is a reality. This is the goal and purpose of the Covenant Christian Faith International Fellowship (CCFIF).
A scriptural passage which illustrates the pattern of accountability is in Acts 21:19. Paul returned to Jerusalem after conducting his final journey and went to James and the elders to declare the things God had done through his ministry among the Gentiles. Because certain Jewish converts had misinterpreted Paul's message to mean they should forsake the law of Moses, James told Paul "do his that we say to thee", vs. 23. Paul submitted to James' suggestion to join those going through purification rites to prove these accusations were untrue. Paul was a man who had established scores of churches via an international apostolic ministry with signs and wonders following, yet he had no problem submitting to James, Pastor of the Jerusalem church.
Paul also knew how to provide input into the other apostles lives to assist them in their ministries. He rebuked Peter openly in Antioch for his hypocrisy of eating with the Gentiles one minute, then withdrawing when his fellow Jews arrived, Galations 2:11. This hypocrisy affected Barnabas,m who was led into the same trap, vs 13. If left unchecked, Peter's example may have led to a permanent split between Jewish and Gentile believers. Perter evidently received this rebuke, for he later states publicly that God used him among the Gentiles first, Acts 15:7.
As a result of being under authority, Paul was able to assume the oversight for many other ministries, including Titus: for this cause I left thee in Crete, that though may set in order the things that are wanting and ordain elders in every city as I Had appointed thee", Titus 1:5. Titus operated as an apostle in Crete and ordained elders in the church under Paul's authority.
The biblical patter of accountability reveals the great need in the Body of Christ today for strong relationships with men and women of excellence and maturity. The covenant Christian Faith Internal Fellowship, has been raised up by God to meet this need among many ministries.
CCFIF will then provide relationships such as affiliations, networking which could lead to oversight and accountability for the many churches,k ministries, and minsters who will take verbal membership in this Fellowship.
